Earth Story

 

This land that we walk upon

Lay our feet stand our ground
Build our homes and civilizations.
Cities to  countries, humongous nations
The waters that quench our dry throat
Inhibit fish and seaweed and coral
Same waters where we row our boat
One that ensures ore life doesn't end.
Wasting it .. what message do you think it sends?
Air that helps us breathe again.
Winds that take us far and wide
Carry us to places we never knew
What if the winds never blew?
This paradise can only be found
With abundant nature all around
Stop looking for a Planet B.
Get up and go plant a tree.
Saving the Earth doesn't happen in a day
Our small steps of good, a large price they pay
The story of our heavenly Earth still has to go a long way
